Our History
Over the years since Harvest Church of Southern Illinois was planted in November 2010 God has demonstrated His faithfulness. As we trace the history of Harvest we are consistently reminded about the heart of our mission – to adore Jesus, advance believers, and assist our community. A brief timeline just begins to describe the faithfulness of God during our history. We are grateful for the faithfulness of many men and women who took hold of God’s call and responded in obedience. 2010
Harvest Church of Southern Illinois began meeting in the local high school.
2011
Harvest moved to meet in the gymnasium of a locally owned seed corn company.
2011
Harvest purchased a building that was used as a tombstone production facility and trailer manufacture. From a place that manufactured signs representing death to offering new life through the declaration of the gospel.
2017
Easter Sunday

Harvest serves the 27,000th free meal to the community through the Harvest Food Ministry.
