David Leads Worship

What is "worship"? What is the point of the singing, praying, listening to preaching,...even dancing...as followers of Jesus? Today King David points us to the deeper, rarely-displayed, spaces of our hearts as he worshipped God with total abandonment and unbridled joy. We also see the opposite attitude in David's wife, Michal: preoccupied with self, suffering from people-pleasing, offering contempt in response to her husband's joyful freedom.
