All Hail King Jesus!

It's a national election year here in the United States. If you're like most Christians, you just groaned inwardly a little as you read that. And who could blame you? Politics is a messy affair, and Christians are not immune.

But did you know your very profession of faith is also a radical political statement? There's no escaping the political implications of being a God-follower. Today we continue our study in 1 Samuel, when the people demanded a king to rule over them ("like the other nations"), instead of submitting to God's rule as their King. You'll be challenged...and pleasantly surprised...by the power of this simple phrase: "Christ is King!".
