God Is Not A Mascot or Lucky Charm

This message given on St. Patrick's Day from 1 Samuel chapter 4:1-11 reminds us that God WILL NOT be used as a mascot or lucky charm. In fact, Jesus is our King, not our talisman!

We're all tempted to slowly begin to use God for our purposes, rather than let God use us for His good plan. Today we're challenged by scripture to be aware of the danger...and to know how to turn back to God when we see this dynamic playing out in our own lives...by beholding Jesus, our Judge/Priest/Prophet/King this Easter season!
