What has God's salvation cost you? In other words, what did you have to lay down when God saved you?
David, the anointed-but-not-yet king of Israel, had amazing success as a Holy Spirit-filled man, yet there could not have been more differing responses from King Saul and his son, Prince Jonathan. One was filled with suspicion, fear, anger, and jealousy; the other with joy, friendship, and surrender to God's will and way in his life.
Listen today to how God brings change in our lives and that we really only need to repent (surrender to God's will & way in our lives by turning to Him as the Lord/Master/Owner of our lives) of one single sin: pride.
